Kenges Rakishev is a Kazakhstan-born investor and entrepreneur. Over the past twenty years, he has established himself as a leading investor and entrepreneur with a significant impact on various sectors, including finance, sports, and technology.

Rakishev is the Chairman of the Fincraft Group (NCOM.KZ), a majority shareholder of Fincraft Resources (SATC.KZ), listed on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).

Rakishev has held significant positions in the metallurgical and energy sectors. He was also the Chairman of the board of directors at Sat & Company and a majority shareholder in Petropavlovsk and Central Asia Metals, among other companies.

Rakishev studied at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and the London Business School, in addition to his academic background in Finance and Credit from Kazakh Economic University and Law from Kazakh National Law Academy.

Beyond his professional work, Rakishev is an active philantropist in his home country.

In 2002, he co-founded the Saby Foundation with his wife, Aselle Tasmagambetova.

The Saby Charitable Foundation is one of Kazakhstan's first private charity organizations and one of the largest in the region. The Foundation seeks to implement large-scale socially significant medical, educational, and sports projects.

He was President of the Kazakhstan Judo Federation from 2012 to 2016 and the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation from 2019 to 2024.

A member of the Forbes List in the country since 2013, Rakishev has championed Kazakhstan's potential in the global economy and is pushing significant investments from here to the USA and Europe, especially in energy security in Europe and the mining and hydrocarbon industry.
