We invested to build a new building at an exceptional public school in Astana.

Last week, we were proud to be present at the inauguration of the new building for Zerde, a special public school for gifted children in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

The Saby Foundation, which we established 22 years ago, has made the building possible. Its goal is to improve our country's education, health systems, and environmental progress.

The new facility, probably one of the most contemporary in the country, means a before-and-after for many. It has 10,000 square metres of space, a third of which has been devoted to sports areas, modern classrooms, cutting-edge technology, and all the appropriate requirements for talented kids to prosper in today's world.

And, most deserved for them.

Many of the hundreds of students who have finished their pre-university studies at Zerde are already doing their share for the country. One hundred ten have been granted the important 'Altyn Belgi' award, 446 are following their passion in Kazakhstan's most influential universities, 85 are studying abroad, and Nazarbayev University has granted 135 scholarships. In global maths and sciences Olympiads, you can see them achieving relevant successes. And their triumphs are our victories.

That is why we are proud to have contributed four Kazakhstani tenge (around 7.3 million dollars) to this project, which started last December and was concluded in record time.

As @a has written, "We remain proud of the work we started over two decades ago. With the support of Saby, such large projects as the Children's Home in Kyzylorda, the Children for Social Adaptation for orphanage graduates in Aktobe, and the general education school-gymnasium No. 174 for 1,200 children in the Nauryzbay district of Almaty have been designed and constructed."

Over the years, we have built schools and orphanages, improved hospitals, and found ways to improve the lives of people with disabilities.

In many ways, we are who we are thanks to the quality of our education. We are certain that this new project will bring new conquests to numerous children. And at the Saby Foundation, we couldn't be any more proud, pleased and blessed.
