My final chapter as Kazakhstan Boxing Federation President

With Thanks: Closing My Chapter as President of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation.

Throughout my business and institutional career, I have experienced extraordinary moments of satisfaction, pride, success, and great results. Yet, few compare to those I have experienced as President of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation in the past few years.

Because, for those five years, we have worked with strength, might, and confidence to bring our nation's Blue and Gold to the upper echelons of global boxing - and we have succeeded.

Today, I step off as President of the Federation and become its Honorary President, an appointment I accept with humility. I am grateful for the opportunity to have served this sport and our athletes. -and deep respect for the sport's legacy and importance to the Kazakh people. I wish my successor all the luck in the world.

In my time as head of our nation's boxing federation, I've seen Aslanbek, Saken, Sabyrkhan, and Kamshybek stand on the podium under our nation's standard. I've seen our Champions (with capital C) triumph on the global stage, including Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals at the Olympics and World Boxing Championships victories in 2021, 2022, and 2023. We have done a great job.

During my tenure, my focus as president has been to help our boxers develop the confidence to succeed, win, and win globally. And those historic moments united and uplifted our country, showcasing the resilience and spirit of Kazakh boxing to the world.

My dedication and resources have aimed to provide unwavering support and professionalization for Kazakh boxing. We have invested in infrastructure and created programs that have been transformative, supporting the construction of state-of-the-art gyms and organizing tournaments that have pushed forward the development of boxing across our nation.

It's been a privilege to witness the improvement in the training conditions for our boxers, the growth of our sport among the Kazakh youth, and the setting up of a scholarship program for young, promising boxers.

Hosting the 2021 World Youth Boxing Championship in Almaty will be a fond memory of mine forever, as the happiness of the Kazakh people every time our sportspeople won.

From now on, I will focus all my time on my business endeavors. However, my commitment to supporting boxing in Kazakhstan remains. I look forward to witnessing the federation, and our athletes reach new heights.

Believing in ourselves is the cornerstone of a prosperous future. In the years to come, Kazakhstan's boxing will continue to be admired by the world's nations. And that our boxers, and ourselves, will continue to win.

Thank you. Thank you.

Kenges.

(I will always cherish the day our President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, received our World Boxing Champions. And here's the picture for the books!)
