We've translated into Kazakh "The Venture Mindset", and I hope it will inspire many young entrepreneurs.

One of the best books about the VC economy published in the past few years is "The Venture Mindset: How to Make Smarter Bets and Achieve Extraordinary Growth" written by Professor Ilya Strebulaev, a brilliant mind at Stanford University and someone very close to us, along with his colleague Alex Dang.

Professor Strebulaev is one of the foremost thinkers in the startup world, and his book is changing the way many think about the future of innovation and venture capital. He has been globally recognized for his work in understanding the decision-making processes of those involved in the innovation economy.

That is why I am so incredibly delighted to announce that we have translated and published the book in Kazakh, marking one of the first translations of its kind into our national language.

The translation was presented this weekend at the CAIER and Fincraft auditorium in Almaty in the presence of Zhaslan Madiyev, Kazakhstan's Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace.

Now, his thoughts are finally available in Kazakh, all thanks to the drive and determination of Askar Bilisbekov, the Managing Partner of our VC fund ByB Capital, who was also a student of Ilya at Stanford.

The book sketches nine principles to help investors and entrepreneurs determine ways to manage successful business transformation within companies large and small. The authors have spent years studying how venture capitalists’ thinking and mechanisms help create successful businesses.

As Minister Madiyev said during the presentation, "First, I encourage the Digital Nomads community to actively participate in the development of technical literature in the Kazakh language. Our specialists working in leading technology companies abroad can contribute significantly by providing correct technical word translations and facilitating their adaptation."

One of my personal interests for many years has been making Kazakhstan a global player in the startup field. Many of you who follow me know I have been presenting in Silicon Valley, Wall Street, and the City of London for years, investing in, supporting, and promoting this goal. This year, Aselle and I launched ByB Capital, a venture capital fund to support fast-growing companies.

Kazakhstan is emerging as a critical player in the global startup landscape. With initiatives like translating "The Venture Mindset" into Kazakh, we hope that new entrepreneurs will be interested in building new ways of building growth. I believe that in sectors like oil, gas, and mining, there is a great opportunity for innovation and digitalization initiatives.

As you can see, in ByB we have already started investing, not only in companies but also in knowledge. We will continue to do so.
